Insurance Coverage

All CSA students are required to have proof of insurance for the duration of the program and we recommend that your policy also covers any additional time spent in China after the conclusion of the CSA program. We encourage students to purchase StudentCare Insurance through our partner InterGlobal for the duration of the program. CSA provides a wide range of activities from camping on the Great Wall to skiing down Chinese mountains, so we like to make sure you are covered and safe in the unlikely event you need insurance. Whether you’re experiencing an upset stomach from adjusting to Chinese food or your personal belongings have been lost or stolen, we have you covered. Insurance allows you to avoid big medical bills from hospitals and recoup any possessions you lose during your travels. Additionally, it allows you to relax a little more and enjoy the experience without having to worry as much about what could go wrong.

All foreign students studying at Chinese universities are required to show proof of insurance. You can choose the CSA recommended insurance by simply adding it onto your program package at the time of payment. If you already have existing travel or international student insurance that will cover the duration of your stay in China, you should forward a copy to your Program Director to support your application. Medical Evacuation Coverage

While it is highly unlikely that it will happen to you, there are extreme circumstances in which visitors have been evacuated for treatment outside of China or removed for health reasons. "StudentCare Plus" Insurance will help if this situation arises by taking care of the costly expenses involved, thus reducing the need to worry about treatment expenses.

24 Hour Emergency Assistance

Travel Insurance

As an overseas student you have specialised needs. With these needs in mind, the "StudentCare Plus" plan includes travel insurance, so you don't have to purchase two separate policies. Travel insurance covers you in case of trip cancellation, delayed departures, missed connections, lost, stolen, or damaged personal effects, and legal assistance.

Loss of Tuition Fees

Often it's not just the medical costs you have to worry about when you fall ill. The "StudentCare Plus" plan also covers you for your tuition fees if, due to unforeseen circumstances, you have to terminate your studies.
