Teach and Study in China Program

For this program, participants enroll in one of our Mandarin studt abroad programs and also work part time teaching English in China. Depending on who you are most interested in teaching, and what you are looking to get out of the job (experience, cash or both!) we’ll do all the leg work and find something that works for you. Maybe its tutoring one-on-one, maybe you’d prefer to teach adults business English, or perhaps spend the afternoons helping to teach kindergarten. Whatever your preference, we'll find the position that suits your needs.

Usually our teaching program participants can commit at least three months to the teaching placement. There are no age requirements, though most of our students have graduated from high school as a minimum education level. The average salary is about 100 to 150 RMB per hour (roughly 14 USD to 20 USD) for first-time teachers, with higher salaries based upon experience and qualifications.

The more time you are able to commit to, the better the wages and perks will be. For example, we can often arrange a package that includes free housing for those interested in year-long placements.
