CSA Teaching in China Program

If you are looking to teach in China full time but you don't where to start, not to worry; we can help. We place applicants in a variety of positions, anywhere from big cities to rural areas, in private language schools or elementary and middle schools. You can tutor pupils one-on-one, teach in a high school, or even teach advanced business English to adults. The options are all there - we’ll help find the placement that's right for you. We provide you with support throughout the interview process and during the teaching placement itself should any problems arise. Depending on which city you select, we can also organize your housing, sightseeing, and insurance needs.

We recommend that participants commit to 6 months of teaching in China, but we can also arrange shorter placements. Typically, the longer you sign up for, the better the wages and perks. For those interested in a year-long placement, we can often organize a package that includes free housing.

There are no age requirements, though most of our students have graduated from high school as a minimum education level. The average salary ranges from 100 to 150 RMB per hour (roughly 15 to 20 USD) for first-time teachers, with higher salaries based upon experience and qualifications. Teaching English in China can be incredibly rewarding, so let us take the hassle out of your job search before you arrive.
