China Study Abroad's Homestay Program offers you the opportunity to live with a Chinese family while also attending your choice of University from a selection that includes the top schools in China.

All of our homestay families have been interviewed for suitability and have been carefully selected from a pool of eager candidates. We strive to match your interests and personality with that of your host family. We only select families that live within a reasonable distance from your University or school with a commute that usually takes no more than 30 minutes by bus or train.

By staying with a host family you will enjoy the benefits that come with family life, while also participating in an unforgettable inter-cultural experience that is not possible from living in an apartment by yourself or in student dormitories.

Every family has convenient and modern living facilities identical to a Western home, including TV, DVD player, computer with DSL, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, air-conditioning and western toilets with 24-hour hot water. Your room will be fully furnished with a bed, desk, wardrobe (or closet) and air-conditioning. Most families are located in nice communities or apartment complexes where a swimming pool, tennis courts and a supermarket are available.
