The Business internship program offers people the chance to work within a company in China. This will give the individual a unique opportunity to immerse themselves not only into Chinese culture but also in the workings and business practices of a Chinese based company or a multinational company operating in China. This is a fantastic way of learning about business within China and will stand you in good stead for dealing with China in the future. The internship program also works hand in hand with CSA’s primary goal of teaching mandarin.
INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT IS FREE WITH ENROLLMENT IN ANY CSA PROGRAM.

How it works
CSA has links with a number businesses around China who are willing to accept interns for a period of time. Each internship program is tailored to the individual according to their C.V. and Chinese language skills. We do recommend those applying for an internship to have at least an intermediate level knowledge of mandarin. It is still possible to arrange an internship program that necessitates lower levels of mandarin, but this will be decided on a candidate to candidate basis. We will test your mandarin language skills when you arrive in China.

Internship Placement
We try to place program participants with a company that operates in a field that they would like to work in. On that premise we give you an option to choose a certain sector of industry. The sectors offered are as follows: - Banking and Finance, Business Development, Education, IT, Marketing and Advertising, Non-Profit, Retail, and Travel and Tourism. From there we will find an established company within which you can work. Entrance to one of our internship programs is dependant on your professional skill, previous education and mandarin language ability.
The program will require you to work between 10-20 hours a week depending on the internship.

Language Studies
Along with the internship program there will be an array of language courses available. In our continuing effort to offer our students as much choice and flexibility as possible, CSA has designed several different options to complement your internship. We can offer you morning courses (4 hours) supplemented with 1-1 tuition. Evening classes (2-4 hours) supplemented with 1-1 tuition. Or we can arrange for flexible individual tutoring without group classes if you prefer.
